The Event will run from 11:00AM (EST) Saturday October 24th to 6:00 PM, Saturday
The Event will run from 11:00AM (EST) Sundday October 25th to 4:00PM Sunday


You are responsible to bring your own computer if you need one. We are working on providing wireless connectivity. You are welcome to participatewith or without technology, but the key thing is participationand collaboration.

Although the Tickets are "free" I ask that you committo your participationif you register for a ticket. If you can not participateplease contact me at gheake@temple.edu or 215-204-7177 there are limited amount of "seats" and/or connections for web participation.

Crisis Camp Philly 2009

Crisis Camp Philly will bring together disability advocates and policy makers, crisis mapping experts, developers, first responders, disability studies scholars, assistive technology experts, public health students and practioners , international, national and local NGOs, film makers and people of all abilities to explore the limits of Universal Design as it applies to Disaster Mitigation through Innovation, Collaboration and Inclusion.
The goal will be to develop requirements and guidelines to support the initiative that started with CrisisCampDC: Improving technology and practice for humanitarian crisis management and disaster management.
